Amedeo Luongo is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and a skilled financial consultant, auditor and entrepreneur, with over three decades of entrepreneurial experience in both the public and private sectors specializing in the construction, real estate, not-for-profit, restaurant and international import/export industries, among others. Mr. Luongo currently serves in the capacity of Managing Partner of Mendonca & Suarez, LLC.
Mr. Luongo’s expertise lies in the implementation of accounting systems, internal controls, cost analysis, financial statement attestation engagements and in helping protect the reputation and integrity of his clients.
Amedeo has consulted for clients in the private sector with over $100 million in annual revenues, and for non-profit organizations and local governments with expenditures of over $400 million annually. Mr. Luongo was instrumental in the implementation of GASB 34, in one of the largest school districts in the State of New Jersey.

NJ. He also earned a teaching degree from the Italian Istituto Magistrale Teresa Confalonieri, Campagna, (SA),
Italy
and has served as an adjunct professor of accounting for Union County College. Amedeo is fluent in Italian and proficient in Spanish and Portuguese. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
