aury M. Senande began her career with this Firm in 1998 serving first as an intern and as an associate upon her graduation. Currently
she holds the position of Manager and is in charge of the Firm’s Tax
Division with special emphasis in inventory capitalization of
wholesaler and retailers, restaurant and hospitality organizations and
health care organizations. Ms. Senande is a well-rounded professional with extensive experience in both tax and audit. Ms.
Senande has significant experience in international taxation and
finance, tax planning for high net-worth individual taxpayers, and
assistance with corporate and personal multi-state taxation issues. Ms.
Senande is also experienced in auditing local governments,
not-for-profit organizations, and other organizations requiring audits
in accordance with Government Auditing Standards, OMB Circular A-133,
the Yellow Book and the HUD audit guide.
Ms. Senande is proficient in various accounting software including, QuickBooks®, Business Works and MAS 90. Additionally,
she is a member of the Mendonca & Suarez Executive Board as well as
the Public Relation and Human Resource executive committees. Ms. Senande is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Portuguese.
Ms.
Senande graduated from Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey and
received her license to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in
February 2001. Ms Senande is a member of the
American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey
Society of Certified Public Accountants
