Nelson A. Mendez, CPA

Nelson A. Mendez graduated Cum Laude from Kean University in Union, New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.  He started his career with the Firm as an intern and currently holds the position of Supervisor and is a member of the Mendonca & Suarez, LLC’ Executive Board.

Mr. Mendez has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, federal and state taxes, sales tax and department of labor audit representation, and like-kind exchanges among others.  Mr. Mendez works with small to medium size companies, helping develop start-ups and existing clients to improve their business and providing assistance with bank financing.

Mr. Mendez obtained the license to practice as a CPA in January of 2003.  He is a member of the New Jersey State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Mendez is fluent in Spanish
